Jews who follow Hasidism, a religious movement founded in Eastern Europe in the mid eighteenth century, which spread the mystical ideas of the Kabbalah to the masses. Although Hasidism produced a considerable body of literature, this is not yet recognised and appreciated to the full in Italy.
