From the concept to the project

LUCIO DEL PEZZO
The reason I decided to make a lamp for Hanukkah (I have several Jewish friends) is quite simple: I admired the motive of the festival; the celebration of light, a theme unique to religion. Light, that brings out the colour, the main feature
of my work, and this feverish celebration of sociability. It was my friend Aldo Mondino who asked me to take part; his works feature a lot of religious elements.
