From the concept to the project

WILLIAM XERRA
A long time ago I realised that “Ideas are meaningless unless nurtured by a body”. So, as Roberto Borghi says, when a work is nourished by a body and impregnated with the mysterious complexity of human existence, which it attempts to express through the finished work, artistic insight can free itself of the presumed “ideas” that have saturated the world of communication, and acquire a meaning. The lamp I have designed for the Museo
dei Lumi is linked to a “body” of meaning. The “craftsman” worked and communicated with the designer, so that his senses were able to respond simply and clearly.
